Using the tools of improv, students will craft an original solo character! Whether you're building your character from the ground up or refining an existing one, this workshop will equip you with all the tools and insights you need to create a solo performance that highlights your unique strengths and talent.

Bio:

Nick Mestad is a New York City based actor and comedian. He was a 2022 Just For Laughs New Face Characters and can be seen in the sci-fi rom-com Molli & Max In The Future. He has appeared on The Tonight Show, Nathan Fielder’s The Rehearsal, Girls5Eva, Chicago Fire and Seeso’s Shrink. Having trained in Chicago at iO and the Annoyance, his work has been featured in Vulture and Clickhole, and he has amassed millions of views online with his highly physical brand of comedy.
