In this workshop, Performers will initially discover & develop new characters to add to their repertoire. Through various exercises and complex scenework, participants will understand how to commit characters in grounded, relationship situations. Each performer will be provided personal notes to further utilize these characters in sketches & other relatable artistic outlets.
For the improv nerds, this will be a mix of things you learn from iO, Annoyance, and Second City in Chicago.

Bio:
Jonald Jude Reyes is a Brooklyn based comedic artist. He is currently the Artistic Director of The Second City Training Center New York. Jonald has taught & Directed sketch & improv for over 12 years with notable past projects such as Directing Aneesa Folds' "Why Am I Here?" (The Asylum), The Second City National Touring Company, The Victor Wong Fellowship's "It's A Bao Damn Time" (The Second City), and the 30th Anniversary of Splatter Theater (The Annoyance).
