This class is limited to 12 students.

Explore the realm of commercial voice acting in this comprehensive five-week virtual class, where students will not only learn how to enter the industry and promote themselves but also acquire valuable techniques for building a sustainable and prosperous career. All that’s needed to attend the class is a computer and recording software (GarageBand, audacity, twisted wave - we will go over these in class).

This course will cover all the tools you need including navigating essential recording equipment/software, identifying your specific niche in the current industry landscape, how to break down a V/O script and take direction, and how to master the art of the audition and nail it every time. While this class' focus is on commercials, students will also learn elements of other aspects of the voiceover industry including audiobooks, scripted podcasts, and more. At culmination you will leave this class with a script, knowhow and experience to record a commercial VO Reel.

Bio:

Matthew J. Harris is one of the leading commercial voice actors in the industry with over 10 years of professional experience, having worked for such brands as; Verizon, Bacardi, AT&T, Google, USPS, VOYA, Fabuloso, National Geographic, Turner Classic Movies, Lincoln Navigator, and more. Outside of commercial voice acting work Matthew has worked in animation, podcasts, audiobooks and also lends his talents to the stage and screen appearing in such shows as; Blue Bloods, Search Party, Fleishman is in Trouble, Blindspot, and more.
