Woof! Another Consecutive Yr of Living / Where U Belong

Sun Aug 4 @ 8:30PM

Another Consecutive Yr of Living

Another Consecutive Year of Living (ACYOL) is a serial birthday play about Evan Garrett’s 29th year on this planet. Starting on May 12th, 2019, Evan will write and perform a 30-minute play every week to illuminate the events that occurred that week. In 2020, for his 30th birthday, he will perform all 48 plays in one 24-hour event. The goal: create a process piece communicating how one person can change over the course of 52 weeks.

For Evan, this epic process is a question about if he can consistently make art he believes in when confronted with the repetition of life. Will this play light a path for Evan to continue on? Or will it act as a love letter saying good-bye to a dream-- exhausting the creative air from within him and reifying himself to the endless excel sheets on his screen?

Each week will guide him along the way; maybe at 30 he will learn which way he wants to go...

ACYOL is updated every week-- join us on our website and Facebook page

Where U Belong

Chase, Larry, and Jason Present: The Personal Introspection and Doin' Drugs Retreat

Sat, Jun 15 @ 11PM

Deep in the virginal forests of Peru, or, more accurately, slightly into Brooklyn just off the second busiest L train stop in the commercial center of the United States, there will be the deepest, most important connection one can have with the known world: a really fun adults-only retreat with mostly strangers!

Come see Shamans-In-Residence/Brooklyn Comedians Chase Montavon, Larry Sass-Ainsworth and Jason Weitzman get you to understand the most important facets of yourself: who you are (the "Me"), who you are as a person (the "Myself") and who are You "the "I"). You will learn truths about yourself and maybe in like the next life you will get to be something cool like a fish or a BKX rider. And the ways to obtain this level of self-knowingness are easy: taking incapacitatingly strong illegal drugs.

Namaste you there!
