FREE BIPOC Workshop. Use Your Voice w/ Kenny Park Yi. (Friday, June 26th)
Workshop limited to 16 students.
This workshop will focus on using your voice and creating space for yourself on stage, while staying attuned to the audience and your scene partners. We will work on ways of bringing your whole self into scenes that celebrates you and your experiences. Expect coached scene-work and plenty of performance reps!
This class is completely free for POC Improvisers, sign up while there’s still room. Then, stay at The Pig Pen for BCC’s monthly BIPOC Jam at 7:00pm!

Where: BCC Pig Pen, Studio B (130 Graham Ave)
Note: As this class is free, we expect perfect attendance. If you register, and are not able to attend the class, please email classes@brooklyncc.com ASAP so we can get someone in the class off of the waitlist.
Bio:
Kenny Park Yi is an NYC-based comedian. Originally from North Carolina, he was inspired by Amy Poehler to take his first steps doing improv in college with North Carolina State University’s Comedic Improvisational Alliance (the CIA). He has since had the fortune of learning and playing at the Washington Improv Theater in DC, and the Brooklyn Comedy Collective + Upright Citizens Brigade in NYC.
Kenny plays with improv team The Slaysians (an all queer, all Asian improv team hell yeah), co-produces Boba Gays (a queer Asian comedy variety show hell yeah) with Alex Kim, and co-hosts Spice Rack (BCC’s BIPOC jam hell yeah) with Noelle Gonzalez.His other hobbies include cheeseburgers, smizing, and gay.
