Workshop: Scenes & Notes w/ James Dwyer (Thursday, June 18th)
Workshop limited to 16 students.
In this feedback-driven workshop, the focus is two person scene work. Everyone will receive personal notes on their improv to sharpen their skills and level up their play. We'll cram as many scenes as we can into this session to catch patterns so we can figure out what's working for you and what isn't.
Pre-req: Level 1 at BCC or any Major Comedy Theater
Workshop: Thursday, June 18th, 7:00pm - 10:00pm
Where: BCC Pig Pen, Studio A (130 Graham Ave)
Bio:
James is an improviser, actor, and comedian who has been improvising in NYC since 2008. Trained primarily at the UCB Theatre, James has performed in/produced shows like Harold Night, The Law Firm, The Great American Shit Carnival, The UCB Touring Company, ASSSSCAT and TGIF with Duchovny. You may have seen him on TV in shows like “What We Do in the Shadows,” “And Just Like That...,” or perhaps you recently saw him in a series of commercials with ALF the puppet and like many people on the internet commented "this dude looks like old MrBeast." He can very realistically cry like a newborn baby, but please don't ask him to do it.
