LOST VAGUS

Written and Performed by Laura Ornella

Directed by Charlotte Otremba

LOST VAGUS is a one-woman show written by and starring Laura Ornella. Once Diane Schooner catches her high-school-sweetheart-turned-husband Dell cheating, she has a revolution of the mind.

Reflecting on her mother's path, Diane vows to live authentically and finally discover who she truly is by changing her name to Diane De Niro and heading out West to pursue a career in show business via Gunther from Friends.

However, the characters she meets along the way bring about changes she could've never expected.

Assistant Director: Baylor Knobloch

Picture this: You just turned eleven years old. You discover Neopets, you come up with elaborate dances at sleepovers, and you eat chicken fingers for every meal — life is fantastic.

Until, one fateful day, you turn on the TV and discover a show called “The Office.” You’re laughing, you’re crying, you…realize you’re in love with a 34-year-old straight woman. Suddenly things are far more complicated.

@JennaFischer is a comedic one-woman show that tells the story of a budding lesbian and how she came to terms with her sexuality through her obsession with an actress. Through original journal entries, characters, audience interaction, and lots of dancing— Winnie invites audiences on a journey into her adolescent brain’s innermost thoughts and unrequited love.
