Tim Green’s sitcom pilot She Is Risen follows no-nonsense Angela, the first woman ever entrusted with Catholic priesthood. Put in charge of a crumbling church, ragtag congregation, and team of misfit clergy, her failure seems predetermined. Will Angela lose the barrier-breaking position she's worked so hard to attain? Or does her new responsibility come with a different definition of success?
A full cast performs the pilot live with improvised commercial breaks by Not Like Other Girls. It’ll be just like watching TV!
